My Life Experiences
Like everyone in life, I have had challenges. I grew up in an abusive home. I took more than four years to finish college.
I was a single mother. I worked three jobs, at the same time, to make ends meet. I also had marriages that did not work out.
Today, I have a happy marriage and success in my life.
I was a Family and Consumer Science Educator for thirty-six years, during which I worked with all age groups, K-12 as well as adults. I coached girls' basketball and lead a Girl Scout troop among other activities in and out of school.
I retired from teaching in 2009. However, after retirement I had the desire to continue helping people in other ways.
